Something's being written

Most of us trade away something on the road to adulthood—the free imagination, the easy trust, the habit of expecting good things. This book is about noticing what we've set down, and the deliberate work of picking it back up.

It's for the person who suspects there's more they were made for, and would rather live on purpose than drift by accident. Written honestly, from the middle of the journey—not from a finish line I haven't reached.

I don't have a firm date yet. Good things take the time they take. But it's coming.

You'll hear first. When it's ready, the people on this list know before anyone else—before social, before the newsletter, before the world.

You'll get glimpses along the way. Occasional peeks behind the scenes: a passage I'm wrestling with, a question I'm chasing, the title once it exists.

You might help shape it. Every so often I'll ask what you'd want from a book like this. I read every reply, and the answers genuinely change what I write.

This isn't the newsletter. It's a smaller, quieter list for people who want to walk alongside this one project as it comes to life.

I'm working on my first book—a longer, deeper version of everything I write about here: faith, family, imagination, and the slow work of becoming who we were actually made to be.

It's not finished. I'm still in the middle of it, the same way I'm in the middle of most things I write about. But if any of what I've shared has resonated, I'd love for you to be among the first to know when it's ready.
